How to successfully remove old and stubborn stains
If you're like me, you always use your most special tablecloths for important meals, but somehow, they end up stained with wine, coffee, or oil! It's happened to me so many times that I've learned some foolproof tricks to rescue those beloved tablecloths. Here are my secrets for removing those old and stubborn stains (and by the way, some tablecloths that will make your life easier).
Vinegar and baking soda: The dynamic duo
When facing tough grease or wine stains, white vinegar with baking soda is your best ally. Simply soak the tablecloth in vinegar and apply a baking soda paste to the stain. If you prefer to prevent these scares, I recommend using resin-coated tablecloths; my favorite is the Ivory resin-coated tablecloth, because it's so easy to clean that you only need a damp cloth!

Milk trick for ink stains
Ink may seem like the ultimate enemy, but soaking the affected area in warm milk is a foolproof trick. After an hour, wash the tablecloth as usual and you'll see the stain disappear.
Hydrogen peroxide for stubborn stains
For those old wine or coffee stains that seem impossible to remove, mix a little hydrogen peroxide with liquid detergent. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse well. This trick has saved me at more than one dinner. And if your tablecloth has been through too many battles, perhaps it's time to invest in a new one. Kairo tablecloths are an elegant and durable option for special occasions.
Final cleaning: careful washing
After treating the stains, wash the tablecloth with a mild detergent and, if possible, add a little vinegar to the final rinse to keep the colors vibrant. I usually always have a good linen tablecloth on hand for big occasions and a resin-coated tablecloth for daily meals, as it's practical and aesthetically pleasing.
Tablecloths witness our celebrations, and losing one to a stain is frustrating. With these tricks, you can keep them immaculate.
